MANUFACTURERS OF TRADITIONAL
TIMBER BOX SASH WINDOWS

We offer the service of painting the windows to finish in the controlled environment of our finishing shop. This service is optional and the windows can be supplied glazed and primed only, if required. However, we generally find that once a prospective client has visited our workshops and showroom, they have no hesitation in requesting the complete service.

The advantages of our painting service:

The box, frames and beads are painted to finish separately and are fully cured before assembly.
This system removes the possibility of painting the frames shut.
No problems with weather interference or access during painting.
Perfect crisp edges to the frames as the interior is sprayed to finish before the glass is fitted.

We use highly durable oil based paint systems:

Interior: 1 x primer, 2 x undercoat, 2 x top coat
Exterior: 1 x primer, 3 x undercoat, 2 x top coat

By using warm edge spacer bar we remove the possibility of cold bridging commonly associated with standard aluminium spacer bar. This prevents internal condensation and the accumulation of moisture on the glazing bars and internal rails. As a result, the interior paint finish should last indefinitely with regular cleaning. The exterior can be recoated every five years.
